Despite what it says in the syllabus about there being a substitute on Wednesday, February 8, there is no class. However, that doesn’t mean you have no assignment.
- Watch Toru Iwatani’s GDC lecture on the creation of Pac-Man.
- Play Pac-Man (Facebook version). (If you don’t have an account, there is an arcade machine in the student lounge near the book store. There is no excuse to not play Pac-Man.)
- Write a post on your blog about what you learned from the game and lecture.
Note: this post is in addition to the design lesson you learned, but if the lesson you learned was from Pac-Man, make sure to clearly indicate you are combining your posts together.
